The last orchid specimen I had to work with was this Odontoglossum:
The two blooms at the top of the plant were the obvious choice for a good composition. I kept this shot very simple, relying mostly on the contrast between the dark red and yellow tones in the flowers and the repeating shapes. Here is the final image:
